Are you positive, customer-driven, hardworking? We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Bilingual Office Administrative Assistant to join a dedicated team of individuals at OBC. Based in Fort Meyers, we are one of the best concrete and masonry contractors in Southwest Florida with over 200 employees. Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and mail.
- Download all ITBs (invitations to bid) and update projects bid list daily.
- Assist in maintaining physical and digital files.
- Assist with scheduling materials and equipment.
- Assist with new project documentation.
- Assist with new-hire employee paperwork and input into the payroll system.
- Assist with timesheets and field labor time processing.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including typing, copying, and faxing.
- Greet visitors, direct them to appropriate staff, and maintain a professional reception area.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- MUST speak English and Spanish.
- MUST be able to pass a drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent. College degree is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in an administrative support role or similar, preferably in the construction industry preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong work ethic.
- A positive and professional demeanor, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
