Position Summary
As a UNC Football Game Day Server, you will be the face of our hospitality team, providing outstanding service in exclusive VIP areas. From welcoming guests and serving food and beverages to maintaining presentation standards and ensuring every guest has a "WOW" experience, you'll play a key role in making game day unforgettable.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to VIP guests throughout game day events
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including linens, flatware, glassware, china, displays, and service stations
- Prepare food service areas and stock supplies as needed
- Serve guests professionally and courteously
- Greet guests, answer questions, and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Bus and clear tables efficiently throughout the event
- Refill buffets, beverage stations, and service areas
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and guest areas
- Become familiar with catering menus, dietary restrictions, and event updates
- Perform assigned side work and cleanup duties
- Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
- Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old or possess a valid work permit
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation within the Greater Triangle area
Compensation
$16.00 per hour
