OFS Global Energy Solutions is a leading provider of integrated energy and engineering services, delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable solutions across the power, oil & gas, and energy transition sectors. As we continue to expand our operations across the US, we are now commencing the recruitment process for a Talent Lead, who will drive end-to-end talent acquisition strategies, build a high performing team and support the delivery of critical energy projects nationwide.


Reporting to the Director of Resources (who is based out of the OFS Headquarters in Ireland), the key responsibilities of this role will include:


  • Providing strong leadership and direction to the US talent acquisition team, setting clear priorities, developing capability, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality hiring outcomes aligned to business growth.
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment processes for all assigned OFS projects, from workforce planning and candidate sourcing through to supporting onboarding and placement.
  • Managing the selection and deployment of personnel using both internal resource databases and external talent markets, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations team and hiring managers to define recruitment needs, manage technical hiring objectives, and ensure delivery against business priorities.
  • Developing and maintain robust talent pipelines by proactively sourcing candidates across multiple platforms, utilising innovative and creative strategies to attract both active and passive talent.
  • Conducting candidate screening, shortlisting, and interviews to assess technical and behavioural suitability, and present clear, professional candidate summaries to stakeholders.
  • Enhancing the candidate experience by guiding applicants through each stage of the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, efficiency, and a positive onboarding journey.
  • Supporting workforce planning by contributing to strategic initiatives focused on the growth, retention, and effective utilisation of existing personnel.
  • Creating, reviewing, and updating job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers and HR, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with organisational standards.
  • Managing external job advertising processes, maintaining consistency in employer branding, and ensuring roles are effectively positioned in the market.
  • Coordinating and sharing recruitment-related information across departments to support seamless operations and informed decision-making.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness), using insights to continuously improve processes and outcomes.


About You:


  • Strong recruitment experience within the Energy sector (Power generation and/or Oil & Gas preferable) but would also consider applicants who have recruitment experience within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Solid understanding of cyclical energy markets, project-based hiring and rapid scaling with the ability to balance speed, quality and compliance.
  • Strong and confident leadership capabilities
  • Advanced sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, Referral and Industry networks and direct sourcing
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end recruitment strategies
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritise
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
