Position Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Clerk will coordinate all daily outbound shipments with our truck drivers to ensure they deliver orders promptly. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of outbound logistics is also required.

Position Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders through customer service department.
• Create outbound deliveries in SAP for finished product.
• Verify conformance of all product shipments to finished product specifications and release product for shipment.
• Produce all shipping documentation for shipments of finished product including COA’s, SAP documents, Bill of Lading, Customs Paperwork.
• Backup to Traffic Coordinator
• Ensure relative documentation is created and/or entered computerized system for all outbound shipments.
• Communicate with Customer Service to coordinate releasing of loads.
• Resolve shipment errors prior to shipment release.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• 1-2 years' experience in a clerical warehouse role is highly preferred
• Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of relevant electronic equipment (scanners, electronic boards)
• Experience with relevant warehouse management system (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
• SAP experience a plus
