Front End Loader- 3rd Shift

Position Summary

In performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, dust, airborne particles, loud noises and vibration. The employee will be standing for long periods of time, exposed to high noise levels, required to climb stairs and move equipment. The noise level in the work environment is loud; ear and eye protection is required, and other personal protective equipment may be required depending on job duties

Position Summary

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Front-End Loader Operator will operate a front-end loader to maneuver products into the plant warehouses.

Position Responsibilities

• Attend and successfully complete the Front-End Loader Operator's Course
• Understand ofi Peanut Shelling safety policies, work safely and report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator.
• Follow ofi Peanut Shelling Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) guidelines.
• Follow all ofi Peanut Shelling Company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
• Perform daily inspections on the Front-end loader and belts for conveyor system, complete any services required to keep them functioning properly.
• Maintain Front-end loaders in clean and sanitary condition and as described in the Master Sanitation Schedule. Ensure that your work area is maintained as well and cleared of any debris caused by the Front-end loader or the conveyor system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Successful completion of the Front-End Loader Course
• General understanding of production and plant processes
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
