Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine scope of repairs using estimating software and collision repair knowledge
- Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials, ensuring transparency for customers and insurance companies
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines to enhance customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with body shop staff to coordinate repairs and ensure quality standards are met
- Upsell unrelated damages
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all estimates, client interactions, and repair progress in computer-aided estimating systems
- Assist in managing customer inquiries related to auto body repairs, insurance claims, and vehicle diagnostics
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or collision technician preferred
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, suspension systems, and other auto body repairs
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive company vehicles as needed
