Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to work in our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries while ensuring efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks
- Safely handle products using pallet jacks and clamp trucks
- Assist in building and organizing pallets for shipping
Requirements
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including forklifts and clamp trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy items
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
