Offshoot Brands, a rapidly expanding and innovative leader in the natural foods and produce industry, is seeking a passionate and driven Social Media Coordinator & Marketing Support professional to join our dynamic marketing team. At Offshoot Brands, we are dedicated to promoting the well-being of our consumers and are proud to be the home of pioneering, plant-forward lifestyle brands such as Love Beets, Veggie Confetti, Genuine Coconut, and Loop Mission.
As the Social Media Coordinator & Marketing Support, you will oversee social media platforms for a few of our brands and will be instrumental in executing strategic social media initiatives that elevate our products, strengthen brand awareness, and foster consumer engagement. Your role is vital in crafting and sharing our brand narratives, nurturing our online community, and driving business growth through effective social media management. Additionally, you will support the marketing team by compiling monthly performance recaps, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with various tasks that contribute to achieving our department's goals.
This position will report to our Brand Marketing Manager and key responsibilities will include:
Community Engagement
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and manage online communities to build strong relationships with our audience.
• Foster and grow our social media communities by encouraging user-generated content and participation in brand-related conversations.
• Monitor specific topics/keywords and actively comment/tag our brands to build brand awareness and drive organic growth of our platforms.
Analytics Reporting
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (i.e. reach, engagement, conversion rates) using tools Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving social media strategies based on data-driven analysis.
• Help develop and maintain budgets and track/manage expenses for social media campaigns, influencers, and content creators.
Social Media Strategy
• Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies that align with the company’s marketing goals and brand identity.
• Monitor trends in social media, food industry developments, and competitive landscape to keep content relevant and engaging, providing weekly trend recaps to the marketing team.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives.
• Liaise with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other brands to coordinate collaborations, content sharing, and campaign/product promotions
Adherence to Brand Guidelines
• Ensure all social media content aligns with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Develop and consistently maintain a distinct and authentic voice for each brand across all social media platforms, ensuring that all content, interactions, and communications align with the brand's identity and resonate with its target audience.
Marketing Support
• Compile and circulate monthly marketing recaps
• Collaborate with in-house graphic designers to develop visually appealing email newsletters, manage their distribution through Mailchimp, and oversee the monitoring and analysis of Mailchimp account performance
• Pack, prepare, ship, and manage the fulfillment of samples for marketing and PR requests
• Be willing to represent brand at trade and consumer-facing events, assisting where needed with show planning, booth design, set-up, and break-down as needed.
• Assist with any other tasks or projects assigned by Brand Marketing Manager and Marketing Director
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field • 1-2 years of social media experience, preferably within the CPG or food industry
• Be available to come into our o\ice in Conshohocken, PA 1-2x/week
• Passion for and expertise with TikTok and Instagram
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in social media trends and platform algorithms
• Proficiency in social media management tools
• Experience with analytics platforms to monitor social media performance and ROI
