Principal or Senior Counsel – Litigation (New Jersey)
New Jersey (required for in-person court appearances)
Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney at the Principal or Senior Counsel level (including new Principals) to join our New Jersey office. We are looking for a litigator with 7–10 years of experience, exposure to complex commercial matters, and a small portable book of business who can independently handle a broad range of litigation work.
This attorney will take on matters from other partners and support complex litigation across the firm, managing cases from inception through resolution—including drafting, discovery, depositions, motions, and court appearances. Because this role requires regular attendance in New Jersey courts, the attorney must be based in, or able to work onsite in, NJ.
Requirements:
• 7–10 years of litigation experience, including complex matters
• New Jersey Bar admission required; New York Bar preferred
• Proven ability to independently run cases and provide litigation support
• Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom skills
