Job Responsibilities:
- Represent businesses, creditors, and stakeholders all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
- Primarily handle creditor-side litigation, with occasional representation of debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings.
- Manage cases from intake through resolution.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda; argue motions in court; attend depositions and hearings.
- Advise clients on bankruptcy strategy and recovery options.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in bankruptcy law.
- Proven ability to first-chair bankruptcy litigation and manage matters independently.
- Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
- Admission to practice in Texas.
