Position/Title: BOLTT Business Development Representative

Reports to: Director, Interior Construction
Summary: Responsible for identifying, developing, and managing interior construction and prefabricated wall opportunities for BOLTT. Strives to achieve the company’s mission of “Creating Great Places To Work”.
Essential Functions:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospective clients, architects, general contractors, real estate professionals, project managers, and industry partners.
- Develop and qualify inbound and outbound sales leads through networking, cold calling, social selling, referrals, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, showroom tours, and product demonstrations related to BOLTT solutions and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, project management, estimating, installation, and furniture sales, to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
- Prepare accurate and timely proposals, forecasts, sales plans, budgets, and reports.
- Maintain up-to-date client account information and sales activity within CRM systems.
- Develop clear, concise, and cost-effective proposals that align clients’ needs with BOLTT products and services.
- Maintain responsibility for accurate and complete paperwork required to process customer orders and project documentation.
- Participate in company sales meetings, vendor presentations, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, provide weekly opportunities and forecast updates, and collaborate with the DIRTT sales team through monthly sales meetings to drive market growth, identify opportunities, and support successful project outcomes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent relationship-building, networking, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to identify client needs and develop creative, cost-effective solutions that align with project goals and company capabilities. Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Working Environment: May need to adapt to internal and external environments based on the scope of the client’s project and/or facility. This may include office environments, active construction sites, client facilities, and job sites that require adherence to safety protocols and the use of specific safety equipment.
Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, bend, lift, travel locally, and use standard office equipment, including a computer and mobile devices.
Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, commercial interiors, construction, architecture, project management, or related field preferred. Experience in commercial construction, interior environments, or contract furnishings is a plus.
