Summary:
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, with a focus on employee benefits administration, HR systems, and administrative support.
Essential Functions:
· Assist with employee benefit programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
· Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and data within UKG and other HR systems.
· Support onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
· Prepare HR reports, employment documentation, and administrative correspondence.
· Provide administrative support to leadership, including scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and special projects.
· Assist with bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies, when necessary.
· Deliver a professional and welcoming visitor experience for employees, candidates, vendors, and guests alongside the Customer Experience Concierge.
· Assist with HR compliance, policy administration, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
· Travel to company locations as needed to support HR operations, training, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Possesses a strong working knowledge of employee benefits, HRIS systems, and general human resources practices. Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and time management while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. The ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, exercise sound judgment, troubleshoot complex issues, and adapt to changing business needs is critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and UKG applications is required.
Working Environment: This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment with frequent interaction with employees, leaders, visitors, vendors, and external business partners. This role requires the ability to work independently while also collaborating across departments. Travel to company locations is required.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, and work at a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications/Requirements: An associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Candidates must have hands-on experience with UKG. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed are required.
