Location: Mountville, PA
Hours: 1st Shift
Hire Type: Temporary (Assignment Length Approximately 2-3 months)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily and long-range production schedules to support manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate a 3–4 week lookahead, including production planning, maintenance activities, and site projects.
- Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to support MRP processes and ensure material availability.
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate equipment issues, material shortages, and production changes.
- Issue bills of materials (BOMs) and support WIP documentation in advance of production.
- Communicate production plans and provide regular schedule and performance updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP system experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
