Office Systems Installations (OSSI, Inc) is Nashville’s leading office furniture installation company and we are seeking candidates suitable to train for supervisory roles in Glass Wall and Office Furniture installation. This is an entry-level position that prepares you to perform a higher-level supervisory role,
You must be highly motivated with excellent work ethics, along with the ability to communicate effectively and be comfortable using basic technology platforms. You also need an aptitude for learning to read blueprints. Finish Carpenters, Millwork Installers, and Cabinet Maker/Installers are strongly urged to apply!

Your hours are based on the individual job requirements with opportunities for substantial overtime any given week. The majority of the work is done indoors.

Basic Duties you will need to learn prior to becoming a Supervisor:
Loading and unloading of glass panels & office furniture
Measuring and installing demountable glass wall systems (for Glass Wall supervisors only)
Assembling and disassembling of all types and brands of office furniture
Maintaining a clean and organized job site
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, office and crew
Ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites in the field
Qualifications
DOT Certified a plus
Ability to use power tools (e.g. hand tools, wood chisels, etc.)and have basic math skills (e.g. addition, subtraction)
Physically fit - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (on occasion, may increase to 100 pounds on occasion)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have own personal reliable transportation
Must be available to work nights and weekends!
Must be able to work out of town (vehicle provided).
Self-motivated Team player
Able to be at work on time each day
