What You'll Do
- Operate autonomous test vehicles and put our self-driving technology through its paces (up to 8 hours/day)
- Deliver sharp, detailed feedback that directly shapes engineering priorities
- Master the nuances of our AV systems as they evolve day to day
- Represent WeRide with professionalism to the public and self-driving enthusiasts alike
- Bring flexibility and team spirit to a fast-moving startup environment (vehicle upkeep, garage support, and other hands-on tasks as needed)
- Travel internationally to train new safety drivers as we expand into Europe and the Middle East
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience as an AV Safety Officer
- A safety-first mindset and excellent judgment under pressure
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally (25% time in Europe/Middle East)
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work supporting demos and testing
Nice to Have
- A genuine passion for vehicles and/or vehicle maintenance experience
- Technical know-how across vehicle systems
- Additional language skills beyond English/Spanish
- A track record of thriving in collaborative, fast-paced teams
