- Interviewing, recruiting, training, and firing staff.
- Interacting with customer and clients to ensure their satisfaction.
- Organizing staff working schedules.
- Carrying out inventory management.
- Purchasing supplies for operations.
- Following standards and procedures for food preparation.
- Ensuring safe storage and preparation of food.
Dietary Manager Requirements:
- Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
- Completion of a certified Dietary Manager Exam.
- 2 years in foodservice management is a plus.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
