Part-Time Floor Tech – Fort Myers, FL

Office Pride is a local Commercial Cleaning Company serving the Lee county and Collier County and Charlotte County Areas that is looking for an experienced Floor Technician. We provide the supplies and training to our Floor Tech/Janitorial Position. We offer flexible schedules that can fit around most any schedule.

Compensation

• $10.50 - $13.00 per hour (based on experience) paid bi-weekly direct deposit
• W-2 employee (NO 1099) we pay taxes on you
• Bonuses based on Facility Cleanliness & Attendance

Work Schedule

• This is somewhat flexible. It will depend on the day and what jobs you have. This is more of an example.
• Monday-Thursday: you can start as early as 3:30 p.m.-1:00 a.m. This would be the latest you would work.
• Sunday: 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
• This position will start as part time and can work into Fulltime.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives work orders and schedules from supervisor.
• Drives van equipped with buffers and scrubber machines, tools, and supplies to work site.
• Buff, strip and wax floors to remove effects of dirt, soot and stains.
• Places fans in strategic room locations as needed and/or wet floor signs.
• Inspects completed floor care to insure conformance to standards. This includes returning furniture and other items to their original location.
• Use of heavy cleaning equipment, such as, floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums and buffers.
• Other duties may be assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needs. Which could include: Window washing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and taking out trash, wet wiping and other cleaning tasks.
