- Perform detailed cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to promote health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory, restocking materials as needed to ensure continuous operation.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and pressure washers efficiently and safely.
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Adhere to environmental guidelines by disposing of waste properly and using eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and prolonged walking or standing throughout shifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and quality.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation is a plus.
