What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Fiscal Intern position at Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor?
The Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor (SNP) has an opening for a Fiscal Intern (Part-Time) to assist with the office’s processing of payments, updating financial records and managing invoices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing vendor invoices, and processing payments
- Processing payment vouchers including PRNI, PRC2, PRM1 in FMS
- Maintaining and updating invoice logs daily
- Assisting in scanning and filing Agency’s vouchers and checks written weekly
- Assisting in re-tagging inventory items for the Agency
- Assisting with office-wide travel arrangements and other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Experience working with spreadsheets within MS Excel
- Experience working with FMS; QuickBooks; and MS Word
- Strong communication skills both orally and written
Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details and ability to multi-task
• Excellent computer skills
• Regard for confidentiality
