Fiduciary Services Specialist
Office of Public Guardian (OPG) – Concord, NH (Hybrid after training)
The Office of Public Guardian (OPG) is a non-profit organization based in Concord, NH, providing legal guardianship and benefit & financial management services statewide for incapacitated adults, including individuals with memory impairment, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability, and mental illness.
We are seeking full-time Fiduciary Services Specialists to join our team.
About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will:
- Manage public benefits and other income sources for clients
- Create and monitor budgets
- Track financial resources
- Make timely bill payments
- Help ensure that clients have safe housing, food, utilities, and other necessities
You will be part of a collaborative team of nearly 20 professionals, with access to peers and supervisors for support, while also enjoying a high degree of autonomy in your daily work. This is a fast-paced role with meaningful impact on vulnerable adults across New Hampshire.
Ahybrid scheduleis available once you are fully trained and proficient with your workload.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human services, public administration, criminal justice, social work, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of State or Federal benefits (such as Social Security Income, Veterans’ benefits, Medicaid/Medicare) is helpful, but OPG is willing to train the right individual
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with dates and numbers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong levels of integrity, discretion, accountability, and compassion
