What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst position at Office of Payment Operations?

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Payment Operations. As a Program Analyst, you will will gather and document requirements as they relate to the post payment activities and functions to ensure the system effectively addresses such requirements.
Qualifications:
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized Experience for the GS-12, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
- Experience reviewing and testing program or business work processes to gather and document requirements and inform system, reporting, or operational improvements; AND
- Experience using system, reporting, or operational data to identify issues, trends, or program needs.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
