As an EEO Specialist, you will provide technical expertise to support the oversight, development, and implementation of policies for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program. Operating within the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI), you will interpret federal laws and regulations to ensure strict organizational compliance while providing technical guidance to less experienced EEO Specialists.

Qualifications:

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal service. To qualify for the NB-V level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-IV or GS-11.

Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

  • Interpreting and applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directives to evaluate organizational compliance and identify workforce trends;
  • Serving as an EEO Counselor during the pre-complaint process OR adjudicating reasonable accommodation requests, including the review of medical documentation; AND
  • Coordinating and preparing annual EEO reports (i.e., EEOC MD-715 and other related reports).

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
