Specialized Experience Statement:
GS-14:One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service that is directly in, or related to, the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: supporting high level executive(s) in within an organization or program area by directing the flow of communications; representing the executive(s) at meetings; preparing complex written materials; assisting with and/or managing special projects; receiving and evaluating internal and external requests for action; planning and coordinating travel arrangements; and liaising between various program areas to disseminate, interpret or receive information; or duties of a similar nature.

Responsibilities:
- Provides high level administrative assistance to the IG/DIG by managing the workflow, priorities and administrative operations of the Immediate Office.
- Develops standardized processes and procedures for preparing and handling all OIGcorrespondence and other written materials. Develops instructions and directives forimplementation throughout OIG. Provides necessary training on new initiatives. Overseesimplementation and provides feedback to organizational components on systemic or individual problems.
- Screen callers and visitors by maintaining in-depth knowledge of OIG operations to determine the purpose and urgency of inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate division or staff member.
- Manages commitments of time for the IG/DIG establishing overall guidelines for appointments and scheduling of special meetings and conferences. Anticipates the IG's/DIG's requirements for speaking engagements, meetings, conferences, congressional hearings, and visits to Regional components.
- Arranges official travel for the IG/DIG including preparing authorizations, arrangements andvouchers.
