Role Description
The Structural Engineer will perform day-to-day tasks such as conducting structural analyses, preparing detailed calculations, creating designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and collaborating on engineering and construction solutions for clients. Additional responsibilities include site evaluations, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. This is a full-time hybrid position (work from home Fridays) based in Iselin, NJ.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain one preferred
- Strong background in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering practices
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing design calculations
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience with public and private sector projects, including historical preservation or LEED-certified buildings, is a strong advantage
