Job Location: Centralia, IL
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Commercial Custodian to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to details, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Would make a great second job or supplemental income to a retired person.
Schedule:
- 2 Part-Time positions , approx. 10 / 15 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, Starting at 2pm, and after 8:30pm, NO weekend
- Paid holidays, additional hours may become available if wanted.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain a commercial building to a high standards
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize designated areas
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Qualification:
- MUST BE ABLE TO FULLY PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK! (This means you "CAN NOT " have ANY criminal misdemeanor / felony charges of any kind!)
- You "MUST" live in the town posted for or within 5 miles.
- For liability & security for this position, applicants MUST BE OVER 21 years old!
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
- 1 year COMMERCIAL cleaning is required
- Driver's license and vehicle is required
