Position Responsibilities
- Participate in investigating missing product
- Complete cycle counts for packaging and ingredients. Communicate low inventory levels to Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
- Complete cycle counts for raw and byproducts maintaining and reporting inventory.
- Partner with internal departments to coordinate product disposition for use or disposal.
- Train warehouse personnel on inventory management procedures.
- Maintain standard work for inventory; update as needed
- Partner with production/shipping/receiving on production discrepancies
- Participate in monthly physical inventory reconciliation with Purchasing Coordinator
- Escalate material shortages cross-functionally as soon as identified
- Maintain minimal packaging inventories to accommodate sales and production requirements
- Oversee and track inventory changes
- Maintain inventories in 3rd party warehouses; escalate issues as needed
- Maintain satisfactory attendance to include timeliness
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate one (1) year of inventory, production, department coordinator experience.
- Skilled in developing productive, collaborative working relationships across departments and with customers
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting, and executing simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a basic level; MS Outlook at an intermediate level
- Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Walking throughout warehouses and multiple buildings. Exposure to dust and hot/cold temperatures; occasional loud noise.
