Lead Software Engineer, iOS (Enterprise Platforms Technology)
Location: McLean, Virginia
Salary between: $197,300 - $225,100
Do you love building innovative mobile experiences and solving complex problems at scale? We’re looking for a Lead iOS Software Engineer to join a highly collaborative enterprise technology team driving large-scale digital transformation.
This role sits within Enterprise Platforms Technology, a group responsible for building and setting best-in-class engineering practices across critical enterprise platforms. You’ll work in small, agile teams, partnering closely with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver high-quality, intuitive mobile experiences used by millions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of high-quality iOS applications aligned to product strategy and engineering best practices
- Partner with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver elegant, scalable solutions
- Own and deliver major iOS platform components in collaboration with senior engineers and architects
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote strong engineering standards
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to timely, high-quality delivery
- Advocate for mobile engineering best practices across teams and developer communities
- Review pull requests and ensure clean, idiomatic Swift code
- Continuously improve processes and contribute to platform-wide technical discussions
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years’ experience in software engineering
- 3 years’ experience building iOS applications
- Strong experience with Swift
- Proven ability to lead technical delivery and collaborate cross-functionally
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree
- 5 years of iOS development experience
- Experience contributing to open-source frameworks
- Strong Agile / iterative delivery experience

- $197,300 – $225,100 (Washington D.C. / McLean, VA area)
