offe market is the internet's favorite off-price retailer, serving up overstock, past-season, and sample sale gems from your favorite sustainable and design-forward brands (think Ganni, Lisa Says Gah, Baggu and beyond). We're scrappy, sharp, and community-obsessed - and we're looking for a part-time social media manager who can bring our unhinged bestie energy to the feed while executing like a pro.
What we're looking for:
You're deeply online but in a fun, self-aware way. You can keep a pulse on what's trending without chasing every trend. You know how to build community, launch drops, and make overstock clothes feel like the most exciting thing on the internet. You move fast, collaborate well, and can flex between founder memes, fashion reels, and BTS event content all before lunch.
You'll be the day-to-day voice of offe market across Instagram, Stories, and TikTok, and the face behind our ambassador program, working closely with our founder and creative team to concept, create, and post social content that drives brand love, traffic, and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Own the content calendar: daily IG feed posts, multiple stories a day, and consistent posting on TikTok
- Concept and create engaging content (Reels, carousels, memes, graphics, etc.) that reflects our brand voice
- Coordinate content with brand and product drop timelines (countdowns, previews, etc.)
- Attend and capture in-person content 1-2 times per week
- Film and help produce content for paid media/ad campaigns
- Run and grow our ambassador program: recruiting, coordinating, and managing relationships with brand ambassadors
- Jump on cultural/trending moments that make sense for the brand
- Collaborate with the founder and marketing team
- Respond to comments, DMs, tags, and build genuine community engagement
- Support social coverage for IRL events and occasional photoshoots
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content strategy
You are:
- Based in Los Angeles, CA (non-negotiable - this role requires in-person filming and events)
- A creative, strategic content creator with 1-2 years experience managing social for a brand (fashion, beauty, or lifestyle preferred)
- Super comfortable creating and filming native content across Reels, Stories, TikTok (and/or Adobe), and other video editing platforms
- Highly organized with great time management, you can plan ahead but pivot quickly
- Collaborative, communicative, and cool under pressure
- Bonus: experience with paid social/ad concepting, running ambassador or small influencer programs, or graphic design skills
