Position Summary
Off The Vine Pizza Pie is looking for a motivated, dependable Pizza Maker & Manager to lead by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for preparing high-quality food, managing daily operations, supervising staff, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas and menu items according to Off The Vine Pizza Pie recipes and quality standards.
- Stretch dough, top pizzas, and operate ovens safely and efficiently.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation on every order.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Schedule staff and maintain appropriate labor levels.
- Monitor food inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health department regulations.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Follow and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Assist with cash handling, deposits, and end-of-day reporting.
- Work efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, weekends, and holiday shifts.
- Step into any position as needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pizza restaurant or high-volume kitchen required
- Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
