Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. As a Seafood Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packaged and prepared for shipment. This position requires a commitment to quality and efficiency. As well as the ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members. This is a food processing facility and this position will have a lot of room for growth as our business continues to excel.
Duties
- Accurately pack products into boxes according to order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet company standards before packaging.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting daily inventories and put away.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist in cleaning work area daily.
- Prep and portion fish to ready for restaurant deliveries.
Skills
- Attention to detail: Ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Time management: Efficiently manage time to meet production schedules.
- Physical stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Team player: Willingness to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills: Ability to perform simple calculations for inventory tracking.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
