Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing product displays to maximize sales potential.
- Use time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
