Service & Warranty Technician - Off-road Camper Vans

At Off Highway Van, we specialize in building and servicing high-performance offroad Sprinter vans for adventurers who demand durability, quality, and style. We're growing and looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Service & Warranty Technician to join our team and keep our customers rolling smoothly on and off the road.

The Service & Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Sprinter van conversions, as well as managing and processing warranty claims. This role blends mechanical expertise with customer service and product knowledge, ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards.

Some travel is required in this role. You must be flexible and available to travel for service calls on short multi-day trips to address customer issues.

What You'll Bring

● 3 years of experience in automotive, RV, or upfitting service work (Sprinter van experience a plus).

● Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

● Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical documents.

● Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple service requests.

● Experience working with Mercedes Sprinter Vans

● Experience in off-grid systems such as solar, lithium batteries, inverters, etc.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● A valid driver's license.

What You'll Do

● Travel for service calls on short multi-day trips to address customer issues

● Diagnose and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and interior systems.

● Perform regular maintenance services, inspections, and quality checks.

● Process and complete warranty service requests, including documentation and communication with vendors and customers.

● Collaborate with the production and design teams on recurring issues or improvements.

● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

● Assist in tracking service parts and managing inventory related to warranty work.

● Communicate effectively with customers and the internal team regarding repairs, timelines, and service needs.

Who We Are

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
