Overview
We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and be proficient in working with robotics and automation systems. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all welding tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Operate robotic welding equipment and assist in programming robots for automated processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any defects or issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles.
- Maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards throughout the production process.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design modifications and tooling requirements as needed.
- Ensure proper maintenance of welding equipment and tools, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and vision inspection systems.
Skills
- Proficiency in Fanuc robotics and robot programming is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and tooling applications.
- Familiarity with distributed control systems and their integration into manufacturing processes.
- Ability to perform blueprint reading with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in production tasks.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve production issues effectively.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency within the production environment.
