This role works with the OES Technology & Innovation team to gather business needs and then translates those business needs into technical specifications documents for internal development teams and software vendors. Duties And Responsibilities
- Support business analysis activities in translating business needs into technology and process solutions.
- Partner with business users and technical teams to document requirements and process flows.
- Assist in gathering, validating, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to solution testing and implementation support under guidance.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and research activities.
- Document functional and technical requirements using standard templates and tools.
- Support development of process flows, use cases, and business rule documentation.
- Analyze basic data sets to identify trends, gaps, or inconsistencies.
- Participate in solution testing to validate functionality against documented requirements.
- Maintain system documentation and tracks requirement status throughout project phases.
- Communicate requirement updates and clarifications to project team members.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Creativity skills to help develop new solutions to old problems.
- Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Ability to present complex information in simple, understandable ways.
- Ability to prioritize work by making informed judgments and collaborating with team and leadership.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

- Strong Office 365 experience, including Excel, Word, and Visio.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field required.
- Experience in commercial construction or supply chain management is desired.
- Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and integrations as well as Microsoft Azure Functions and Application Insight strongly preferred.
- Experience with markup languages like XML, HTML, and JSON strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic PC skills, familiarity with computer technologies, network environments and activities a plus.
- Experience with writing SQL queries a plus.
- Experience with developer tools like Postman and GitHub a plus.
- Occasional weekend/after-hours work may be required as part of this position. Any weekend/after-hours work to be coordinated in advance with team and per the specific needs of the project.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and travel as needed.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds if needed.
