Who we are looking to hire?
OEM Materials & Supplies is seeking a motivated Packaging Sales Representative with packaging industry knowledge and proven sales experience.
This is a hybrid inside/outside sales role focused on developing new accounts, following up with prospects, making outbound calls, managing customer relationships, and helping customers source the right packaging products.
The ideal candidate should understand packaging materials, including corrugated boxes, stretch film, foam packaging, poly products, labels, mailing tubes, cores, pallets, crates, and other industrial packaging supplies.
We are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, organized, dependable, and consistent with follow-up. The right person should be comfortable working in a CRM, tracking opportunities, and staying on top of customer activity. Experience with HubSpot is a strong plus.
This position is hourly plus commission, giving the right salesperson the opportunity to build a strong book of business while having a stable base. We want someone who is hungry, professional, and ready to grow with the company.
Requirements
- Successful sales experience:
- 2 years minimum packaging sales experience.
- Strong lead generation skills through networking, cold calling. LinkedIn and D & B Hoovers.
- Ability to handle existing accounts while building new business.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion to succeed and a hunter’s mentality.
- Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Packaging industry knowledge is required.
- Prior B2B sales experience is required.
- Comfortable making daily outbound phone calls.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Basic computer and email skills.
- CRM experience preferred.
