Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Shelton, CT, for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise to support and drive the sales process, collaborate with clients to identify suitable solutions, and develop strong relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include preparing product presentations, offering technical support, and acting as a liaison between the engineering and sales teams to deliver customized control system solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales and Sales Engineering with a strong ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Technical Support skills with a strong foundation in understanding and explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build rapport with clients and maintain professional relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing
- Proficiency in understanding and utilizing technical diagrams and product specifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in industrial controls, electrohydraulic systems, or related fields is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
