CDL A Steel Hauling
Home Weekends | $2000 Sign on Bonus | Earn 27% of line haul
Regional Route- NW Indiana to SE Michigan, Kentucky, & NW Ohio
Drive with a long-standing steel hauling operation that values experience, safety, and driver longevity. This regional CDL-A role offers steady work hauling steel coils with reliable home time and well-maintained equipment.
Equipment & Freight:

• Freight: Steel Coils (2–3 coils per load, up to 94K lbs)
• Trucks: Newer Peterbilt 389 & 567 (18-Speed Manual | 2020–2025 Sleepers)
• Trailers: Reitnouer 7-Axle Conestoga
• Lanes: Portage, IN ? Detroit, MI | I-94 Corridor | Delta, OH
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | Early AM starts (typically 5–8 AM)

Job Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A (no automatic restriction)
• 2 years CDL-A driving experience
• 1 year of steel coil hauling experience
• Experience with 18-speed manual transmissions
• Experience with Michigan freight / heavy haul
• Valid Medical Card
• TWIC card is a plus
