Role Description This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is based in Caldwell, ID. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric clients with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs in a clinic setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing one-on-one and small-group therapy, and documenting progress in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves close collaboration with families to provide education, home programming strategies, and ongoing support, as well as coordination with other pediatric therapy providers to ensure integrated care. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in team meetings, maintain licensure and continuing education, and contribute to a positive, child-friendly environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy and Speech intervention for pediatric populations.
  • Knowledge and experience in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
  • Clinical experience in managing Dysphagia and feeding-related challenges in children.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in Idaho and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
  • Strong documentation, case management, and time-management skills in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to build rapport with children and families, and to provide clear, compassionate caregiver education.
  • Experience in pediatric therapy settings and familiarity with family-centered, play-based interventions is beneficial.
