Overall
The Electrical Division of Odyssey has immediate openings for qualified candidates with the right attitude who motivated to learn and grow their skills as electrical technicians. An Electrical Apprentice or Helper works with other electricians in either Service or Construction departments of the Electrical Division at Odyssey Mechanical. They will receive lots of training on how to effectively complete service calls and install electrical work. There are opportunities for bonus payouts, tuition assistance for apprenticeship, and training from the most helpful and friendly service team in the area.
Responsibilities
· General knowledge of electrical systems and general troubleshooting
· Maintain the Odyssey reputation for outstanding customer service
· Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Regularly and consistently communicate with employees and managers at Odyssey
· Learn to identify electrical problems and safety hazards
· Learn to install, repair, and/or replace electrical components, devices, lighting and lighting controls, fans, fixtures, breakers, switches, receptacles, panels and more
· Learn to identify and list all electrical materials needed to complete a job
· Safely use hand tools and company-provided power tools
· General knowledge of electrical code (NEC) and willingness to seek clarifications
Qualifications
· Required: High School diploma or GED.
· Required: Valid driver's license.
· Required: Ability to read and comprehend written (English) material.
· Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
· Preferred: Enrollment in an electrical apprentice program or other technical program.
· Preferred: Electrical experience.
Working Conditions: Field environment, in customer’s homes and businesses.

Work Days & Shift Schedule: Day shift,Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Weeknight and weekend on-call approx. once per month.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
