Overall
The Electrical Division of Odyssey has immediate openings for qualified candidates with electrical experience who are motivated to lead a small crew or team of electricians, apprentices & helpers to install new electrical construction in Wilmington and surrounding areas. The Electrical Foreman works directly for the Electrical Superintendent and will receive coaching and training on electrical work installation and team leadership while working their tools and crew to lead small-job projects from start to finish. There are opportunities for tuition assistance for apprenticeship, if needed.
Responsibilities
· Understand electrical systems and general construction knowledge and sequence of work
· Maintain the Odyssey reputation for outstanding customer service, in a multi-trade construction environment
· Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Regularly and consistently communicate with the Electrical Superintendent
· Identify and mitigate safety hazards during job task planning
· Install a variety of electrical components, devices, lighting and lighting controls, fans, fixtures, breakers, switches, receptacles, panels and more
· Correctly identify and list all electrical materials needed to complete a job
· Safely use hand tools and company-provided power tools
· General knowledge of electrical code (NEC) and willingness to seek clarifications
Qualifications
· Required: High School diploma or GED.
· Required: Minimum of 5 years electrical experience.
· Required: Valid driver's license.
· Required: Ability to read and comprehend written (English) material.
· Preferred: Completion of apprentice program or other technical program.
· Required: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Working Conditions: Field construction environment.

Work Days & Shift Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Overtime when required for shut-downs or project acceleration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
