About The Job
Odyssey Logistics is seeking a highly skilled, punctual, and detail-oriented Partner Integration Engineer to join our Global Integrations Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions across various platforms, with a strong background in EDI, iPaaS solutions like Boomi, and complex system integrations within logistics and supply chain domains. Additionally, expertise in scripting, particularly for XML Schema Definitions (XSDs), is required for effective data transformation and validation.

In This Role, You Will
- Integration Design and Development: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of integration solutions using Boomi, Lightwell, and B2Bi.
- EDI Management: Oversee EDI processes to ensure accurate and timely data exchanges between internal systems and external partners.
- API Development: Design, develop, and manage APIs to ensure secure and scalable system integrations.
- Scripting & XSD Management: Develop and optimize scripts (JavaScript, Groovy) to support integration tasks, including XML/XSD-based transformations and validations.
- Project Leadership: Drive complex integration projects from inception through deployment, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement proactive monitoring solutions to identify and resolve integration issues swiftly, ensuring system reliability.
- Documentation & Standards: Establish and enforce integration standards while maintaining detailed documentation of integration processes, data flows, and system architecture.
- Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver optimal integration solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and trends, recommending enhancements to existing systems and workflows.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in integration technologies are a plus.
- 7 years of experience in systems integration, specializing in EDI, API development, and iPaaS platforms (preferably Boomi).
- Proven leadership in complex integration projects, particularly in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.
- Strong expertise in scripting and managing XML/XSD-based transformations.
- Advanced proficiency in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and mapping.
- Expertise in Boomi, as well as other integration platforms such as Lightwell, B2Bi, or MuleSoft.
- Strong knowledge of API design and management (RESTful, SOAP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integration services.
- Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data transformation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Groovy), with a focus on XSD transformations and validations.
- Highly punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented in project execution and deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities, fostering collaboration and growth within teams.
- Experience with Partner Integrations and related integration processes.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.
- Certification in Boomi or other relevant integration platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for integration deployment.
