MAJOR FUNCTION:
Assists Finance team with monthly deposits, month-end closing, and other general accounting functions.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately post incoming funds from bank deposits and electronic transfers into the organization's accounting software.
- Assist in the month-end closing process by reconciling accounts, analyzing accounts, and posting journal entries.
- Undertake additional duties assigned by the Accounting/Finance Department, which may include participating in audits, conducting financial analysis, or contributing to special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or in the process of pursuing for accounting degree.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred, including accounting internships.
- Must have good communication skills and writing skills.
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
