Join us as we continue our efforts to create successful community-based fundraising events on behalf of various charitable organizations. Our mission revolves around uniting communities and motivating them to rally behind significant causes. We're currently in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our events team and contribute to the success of our fundraising endeavors.
As the Event Assistant, you will be responsible for working on-site at various locations with the goal of engaging with members of the public to increase both exposure and revenue for our clientele. You will receive training on all aspects of business operations, starting with the events themselves and then moving more behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver presentations to various community members, addressing any inquiries they may have regarding the charity and generating donations on behalf of our clients
- Collaborate with team members, leadership, and management to comprehend and fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with the role.
- Attend events to engage with community members, providing information and education about our charitable partners.
- Commence each day by refreshing knowledge on our charitable partners and their missions, including any updates and progressions.
- Accept donations and ensure proper documentation.
- Establish ongoing communication with donors to keep them informed about program progress.
- Participate in a supportive team environment, offering and receiving assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ideally, have 0-2 years of experience in customer service, non-profit, fundraising, or related fields.
- Demonstrate a resilient attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Exhibit a passion for working with people and the ability to speak publicly in front of diverse audiences.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a team setting.
- Display a drive to advance within the organization and assume leadership roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
