Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, using POS systems such as Toast to process orders efficiently.
• Take food and drink orders accurately while providing friendly, attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Engage with guests to promote sales through suggestive selling techniques while creating a lively nightclub or banquet atmosphere.
• Assist with catering events or banquet setups as needed, demonstrating flexibility within the food service environment.
• Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles is highly preferred; hotel dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately.
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is desirable; retail math skills are beneficial for managing sales efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness.
