Role Description
There are full-time or part-time on-site roles for a Counselor located in Albuquerque, NM. Although we most of our counselors work a hybrid schedule according to what best serves the client. The Counselor will provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer guidance and support tailored to each client’s needs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with other professionals, and staying informed of best and evidence-based practices in the field.
Qualifications
- Counseling and therapeutic skills, including conducting assessments and providing individual and group counseling
- Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with accurate documentation abilities
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and familiarity with evidence-based practices
- Master’s or higher degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Counselor or related discipline in the state of New Mexico
- Ability to work compassionately and empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Experience with trauma-informed care is preferred but also further training can be received.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and conflict resolution is a plus
