Duties
- Engage with clients through outside sales efforts, including community events and networking opportunities, to promote insurance products and services.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate coverage options for health, life, property, and casualty insurance.
- Negotiate policy terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Build lasting customer relationships by providing personalized service, answering inquiries, and offering ongoing support for benefits administration.
- Educate clients on insurance options, coverage details, and regulatory requirements to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure compliance with industry standards and optimize sales strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with insurance products such as health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems for effective sales administration and client management.
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable coverage options.
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and benefits administration processes.
- Prior experience in customer service roles that involve client communication and relationship building will be advantageous.
