We are a growing residential and commercial property management company looking for the right candidate to fill a property manager role at a 75-unit multifamily building.
Property Manager Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating, and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
· Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
· Address tenants concerns or issues in a timely manner
· Maintain records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, renewals etc.
· Establishes rental rate with Director of Management by surveying local rental rates
· Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
· Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rents, security deposits, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and scheduling expenditures
· Hosting resident monthly events
· Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, and completing repairs.
· Maintaining building by supervising maintenance team and contracting out work when needed.
Property Manager Qualifications/Skills:
· Motivation for leasing
· Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations surrounding property management
· High level of organization and attention to detail
· Professionalism
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Takes initiative in everyday tasks
· Proven work experience as Property Manager
· Ability to multitask
· Customer Service Oriented
Education, Experience, and Licensing requirements:
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
· 2-5 years in property management a plus
· 1-3 years in real estate a plus
· Solid knowledge of office software in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Appfolio experience preferred but not mandatory

· Pay: $35,000-$45,000 a year
