Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Farmington Hills, MI. The Human Resources Recruiter reports to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for:
· Managing full cycle recruiting for clinical and administrative positions, including, but not limited to, Medical Technologists, Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Lab Assistants, Phlebotomists, Quality/Regulatory staff, and operational support roles.
· Collaborating with lab leadership and hiring managers to understand technical job requirements and CLIA/COLA/CAP regulatory considerations.
· Developing sourcing strategies targeted at specialized talent pools, including scientific networks, healthcare job boards, university programs, and industry associations.
· Conducting initial screening interviews to evaluate qualifications, certifications (ASCP, AMT, etc.), and alignment with laboratory workflow needs.
· Ensuring job descriptions accurately reflect responsibilities, qualifications, and compliance requirements for CLIA-regulated roles.
· Coordinating interview schedules, technical assessments, and reference checks.
· Maintaining records, applicant flow documentation, and recruitment reports in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
· Supporting recruitment for non-clinical roles as needed (operations, logistics, customer service, admin).
· Contributing to employer branding initiatives, including laboratory career events and outreach to clinical education programs.
· Assisting the HR team with onboarding to ensure new hires meet all credentialing and compliance requirements prior to start dates.
· Staying current on workforce trends in clinical diagnostics, laboratory staffing shortages, and healthcare hiring practices.

· 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a healthcare, laboratory, biotech, or scientific environment.
· Familiarity with CLIA regulations, accreditation bodies (CAP, COLA), and healthcare credentialing requirements preferred.
· Experience recruiting for technical or clinical roles strongly preferred.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively with scientific and operational leaders.
· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and industry-specific networks.
· Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
