Position Summary
The Parcel Specialist is responsible for overseeing the management of parcel customers and serving as the primary point of contact for their diverse needs. This role is tasked with delivering exceptional service and communication and fostering strong relationships with both internal partners and external clients to ensure mutual success. Proactively engaging with external customers, the Parcel Specialist aims to expand ODW’s presence with each client, driving growth and solidifying the company's position in the market.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage small to mid-sized customer accounts
- Review weekly KPI Metrics
- Provide parcel spot quotes upon request
- Develop a detailed understanding of the ODW parcel pricing contracts with carriers, clients and vendors
- Offer solutions for support needs in Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process and other customer presentations
- Oversee any after-hours customer issues or urgent requests, both internal and external
- Prepare and present monthly budget reports and communicate with team leader on sales, profit, number of orders, and changes in customer communication
- Create and maintain customer profiles for each managed account
- Assist with customer onboarding
- Assist in data analysis and bid process for prospective parcel clients with the long term goal of owning this function
- Problem solve operational issues as needed – may involve interdepartmental and/or vendor involvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with program vendors, carries and clients
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience working in logistics preferred
- 1 year(s) of account/order management experience preferred
Capabilities

- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail
