Bankruptcy Attorney

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our Business Reorganization Team. The ideal candidate will be a first-chair level partner with a portable book of business and a proven track record handling complex Chapter 11 cases. Key Responsibilities:

 Serve as lead counsel in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, representing debtors, committees, and fiduciaries.

 Manage all aspects of case strategy, filings, negotiations, and court proceedings.

 Provide counsel on business reorganizations, insolvency issues, and restructuring strategies.

 Handle bankruptcy-related litigation, including motions, adversary proceedings, and plan confirmations.

 Collaborate with team members across practice areas to ensure comprehensive client support.

 Maintain and grow existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

 Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

 Membership in The Florida Bar or a strong commitment to obtaining admission.

 Significant experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases representing debtors, committees, and fiduciaries.

 Bankruptcy litigation experience preferred.

 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Spanish language skills are a plus.

 Preference will be given to candidates with an existing book of business.

Pay: $169,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
